Has Triptii Dimri secured the highest remuneration of her career with Spirit?
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood's new heartthrob Triptii Dimri has made her stunning entry into Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film Spirit after superstar Deepika Padukone opted out of it with a trail of controversy.
Triptii, who gained a sweeping fame with Sandeep's 2023 film Animal that too with a limited role, is already excited for a reunion with the director of the film, which stars Prabhas in the lead.
But how much is she getting paid?
While several reports have claimed Triptii has bagged a pay cheque of Rs. 4 crore, 20 percent of what Deepika was about to be paid, India Today claims the actress will receive Rs. 6 crore as her remuneration, which will be the highest so far in her short career.
Triptii, who first caught the attention with her roles in Laila Majnu, Bulbbul, Qala, got her fan base increased manifold after Animal, where she had grabbed the eyeballs with her nude scene with Ranbir Kapoor.
The film had not only ramped up her Instagram followers, she was also referred to as the "national crush" online.
After Animal, Triptii improved her career graph with Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Apart from Spirit, her upcoming projects include Dhadak 2, Arjun Ustara.
The controversy erupted after either Deepika opted out of Spirit or the actress was dropped over her certain demands.
Deepika had reportedly placed a number of demands for the makers to fulfill if she had to join the project.
While some reports claim Deepika had demanded Rs. 40 crore as remuneration, others wrote the 39-year-old, who embraced motherhood last year, refused to work beyond six hours a day and charged extra if shooting continues after 100 days.
