Health scare for Govinda! Actor hospitalised after sudden collapse at home
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Govinda has been admitted to hospital after he fainted at his home at midnight, media reports said.
Govinda has been admitted to CritiCare Hospital in suburban Juhu.
The 61-year-old is currently undergoing multiple medical tests.
His legal adviser and friend Lalit Bindal wrote on Instagram, "My dear and respected Govinda has been admitted in hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconscious (unconsciousness). I pray for his speedy recovery."
In a latest update, Bindal told India Today, "He was feeling disoriented. All tests are done, and we are now awaiting reports and opinion of neuro consultation. He is stable now."
Meanwhile, veteran actor Dharmendra was on Wednesday morning discharged from hospital.
The 89-year-old was discharged at 7:30 am.
Dharmendra's family decided to take him home for treatment.
On Tuesday, Dharmendra's actress wife Hema Malini blasted several media reports over fake news of her husband's demise.
First Dharmendra's daughter Esha Deol refuted the media claims saying, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa's speedy recovery."
Later, Hema Malini wrote on X, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."
