I hope Bengali films get dubbed for wider reach: Bengali director Shiboprosad Mukherjee unveiling Darshoo

Kolkata/IBNS: A multilingual OTT platform, Darshoo, was launched by Bengali director-actor Shiboprosad Mukherjee here last Thursday.
This platform offers a wide range of movies, web series and original content in multiple languages including Bengali, Assamese, Chinese from different regions of the world.

Shiboprosad said at the launch, "I think for the Bengali film industry, if something new happens, it is a really exciting and proud moment for all of us. I feel that as much as you like regional content, you will be even more international."
"The makers of Darshoo have gathered content from around the globe. I want and hope that Bengali films also get dubbed in other regional and foreign languages so that our works of Bengali films reach many more audiences. I want Darshoo to make it possible," the 'Bohurupi' director added.

The launch was also followed by a fashion show presented by designer Abhishek Dutta with Bengali film star Nussrat Jahan as the showstopper.
The initial subscription rate of this OTT platform starts from Rs. 49 per month, Rs. 99 for 3 months, and Rs. 199 for a year.
