Prosenjit-Rituparna reunite to celebrate silver jubilee of Bengali blockbuster film Sasurbari Zindabad
Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood’s evergreen duo, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, shook a leg at the re-release of their film Sasurbari Zindabad, celebrating 25 glorious years since its release.
"We made this film with a lot of hard work and effort 25 years ago. As you all know, this film was a milestone for the Bengali film industry in those days. It's been a long, long journey," said actor Prosenjit Chatterjee.
"It's been released again for a few days in only some selected theatres. So enjoy it once again,” the veteran actor added.

The director of the movie Haranath Chakraborty said, “You have already given this film so much love that it is re-releasing after 25 years. A lot has changed since then; it was in a reel format, and I now have it in digital format."
Present at the event were Anamika Saha, Subhasish Mukhopadhyay and Arun Bannerjee, who have portrayed important characters in the film.

An orchestra was also present to recreate the mood of the film.
This re-release would be for a short period of time and at limited cinema halls.
