Rhea Chakraborty posts for first time on Instagram since CBI gives clean chit in Sushant Singh Rajput case
Actress Rhea Chakraborty posted her first social media post since she was cleared of all allegations in the Sushant Singh Rajput 'suicide' case after the Central Bureau of Investigation filed its closure report into the incident.
In its report, CBI concluded that Sushant, who had gained immense popularity with his appearance in several hit Bollywood movies, committed suicide.
The post is related to her appearance on the reality show Roadies Double XX.
Rhea shared a series of images and wrote: "Watching vote out > = being at vote out."
She could be seen sporting a brown leather jacket in the images.
In one of the images, she could be seen posing with her fellow team leaders Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia and Elvish Yadav.
Sushant Was Found Hanging In His Apartment
The Bollywood actor was found hanging in his Mumbai flat in Bandra on June 14, 2020, a tragedy that stunned fans and sparked multiple theories, leading to a high-profile investigation.
According to officials, the closure report is related to two cases—one based on allegations made by Rajput’s father against his then-girlfriend, actor Rhea Chakraborty, and another filed by Chakraborty against Rajput’s family.
The CBI, which took over the case in August 2020, found no evidence suggesting that anyone compelled Rajput to die by suicide.
As a result, Chakraborty and her family have been cleared of all allegations.
A forensic team from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) had also concluded that Rajput’s death was due to suicide and ruled out murder.
