This is false news: Govinda's niece Arti Singh rejects actor is heading to divorce with wife Sunita Ahuja
Govinda's niece Arti Singh on Tuesday dismissed speculation that the Bollywood actor and his wife Sunita Ahuja are likely heading towards divorce after 37 years of marriage.
Singh told News 18: "This is false news. These are just speculations because their bond is so strong."
"They have built a strong and loving relationship over the years so how can they get divorced?" she said.
She said all reports around their divorce are 'completely untrue'.
"People should refrain from spreading misinformation about their personal lives," she said.
Singh commented amid several media reports claiming that Govinda and Ahuja are heading to divorce.
Sunita and Govinda met for the first time before he had joined Bollywood and gained popularity with his appearance in hit movies Raja Babu (1994), Coolie No. 1 (1995), Saajan Chale Sasural (1996), Hero No. 1 (1997), Deewana Mastana (1997), Dulhe Raja (1998).
After dating for several years, they married on 11 March 1987.
They are parents to a daughter, Tina Ahuja, and a son, Yashvardhan.
