Oval/IBNS: Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj bowled out England for 247 taming the hosts who were displaying their brand of aggressive cricket on day two of the fifth and final Test at Kennington Oval in London on Friday.

Krishna and Siraj- the frontline fast bowlers in absence of premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah- picked four wickets each.

Zak Crawley, who slammed 64 off 57 balls, was the top scorer for the hosts, who bowled out India for 224 in the first session.

After bundling out England, India scored 75-2 at stumps on day two of the series-deciding Test.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was lucky to have been dropped twice, is unbeaten at 51 off 49 balls (7 fours and 2 sixes) causing worry for England, who are playing with a reduced bowling strength following Chris Woakes' injury on day one.

Akash Deep played the nightwatchman's role after Sai Sudharsan was dismissed for 11.

Compensating the first innings deficit of 23 runs, India are now 52 runs ahead of England, who are leading the five-match series 2-1.
