Sachin Tendulkar notes India's poor fielding in congratulatory message for Jasprit Bumrah
Leeds/IBNS: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar took a dig at the Indian team's poor fielding against England blaming three dropped chances and a no ball for denial of a nine-wicket haul for Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings at Headingley in Leeds on Sunday.

Tendulkar congratulated India's premier fast bowler for his five-wicket haul not forgetting to mention his wicket on a no-ball and three catch drops in the English first innings.
"Congratulations Bumrah! A no-ball and 3 missed chances stood between you and 𝙣𝙖𝙪 wickets," the former India captain wrote on X.

With almost no effective support from the other end, Bumrah managed to earn a six-run lead for India over England who were bowled out for 465 in the first innings.
Ollie Pope (106) and Harry Brook (99) remained the top scorers for England whose innings comprised multiple starts that eventually led the hosts to almost neutralise India's first innings total of 471.
In the second innings, Brydon Carse dismissed first innings centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal early.
Jaiswal's departure was followed by a solid partnership of 66 runs, thanks to experienced KL Rahul and debutant Sai Sudharsan.
Sai, who was dropped by Ben Duckett in the gully, hit a clean 30 off 48 balls until he was sent back by Ben Stokes in the 21st over.
India, who finished at 90-2 at stumps on day 3, are leading the hosts by 96 runs in the second innings.
KL Rahul (47) and Indian captain Shubman Gill (6) will resume the batting on day four on Monday.
