Yuzvendra Chahal's fourfer hands over KKR embarrassing defeat against PBKS
Chandigarh/IBNS: Kolkata Knight Riders suffered an embarrassing defeat against Punjab Kings after Yuzvendra Chahal ransacked the opponent's middle-order through his match-winning fourfer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday.

In what seemed to be a cakewalk for KKR buoyant by bowlers' spectacular performance, the visitors crumbled midway from 62-3 to 95 allout in their bid to chase down a simple target of 112.
After a breezing, promising start from Prabhsimran Singh (30 off 15 balls) and Priyansh Arya (22 off 12 balls), PBKS soon lost their momentum when KKR bowlers led by Harshit Rana (3/25) and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/21) triumphed over the hosts leaving the crowd silent.
After PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer was sent back for a zero, the hosts lost wickets in quick succession to get bowled out for 111 in 15.3 overs.
Sunil Narine, who failed with the bat on Tuesday, excelled in his bowling duty picking two wickets for 14 runs.
KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and Angrish Raghuvanshi soon took control of the game after KKR lost two early wickets until Chahal managed a breakthrough in the eighth over.
Rahane's departure at 17 was soon followed by Raghuvanshi who walked back for 37 becoming the second prey to Chahal's unforgettable spell that earned the spinner a warm hug from his franchise co-owner Preity Zinta post match.
KKR soon crumbled like a pack of cards as the Knights were reduced to 79-8 in almost no time.
The power-hitter Andre Russell, who smacked a couple of sixes and a four in the 14th over to instill hope, was the lone man fighting for KKR's cause after Vaibhav Arora was caught behind by Josh Inglis off Arshdeep Singh's delivery in the 15th over.
Though KKR had ample number of balls to score the required runs, it was only a matter of one wicket that would seal the deal.
In what KKR fans would have feared, Russell was played down by Marco Jansen (3/17) in the inaugural ball of the 16th over.
PBKS bowled out KKR for 95 in scripting history by defending the lowest ever total in IPL.
