Evaluation of Madhyamik, HS answer scripts start from May 2nd
The evaluation of answer scripts of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (+2) examinations of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will begin from May 2nd next.
Addressing a press conference at the board office on Thursday ,TBSE president Dr Bhabotosh Saha accompanied by board secretary Dr Dulal Dey said that the evaluation of all answer scripts will be over by May 20 next and the evaluation of answer scripts will be spread over 6 venues around Agartala. Among these six schools, four for Madhyamik including Bani Vidyapith, Budhjung Girls, Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan and Umakanta Academy English medium and for HS examinations, Bardowali HS school and MTB Girls school.
Dr Saha said that this year board has appointed a total of 2,652 examiners and scrutinizers including 110 head of examiners for entire evaluation of Madhyamik and HS answer scripts.
This year altogether 38,130 candidates enrolled for Madhyamik and 33,453 more candidates for HS examinations enrolled including 121 for Madrasa Alim and 62 for Madrasa Fazil examinations.
Dr Saha said that there are around 1.8 lakh answer scripts for HS and 2.6 lakh answer scripts for Madhyamik examinations. He added that answer scripts will be supplied to examiners in packets of 18 answer-scripts which an examiner will have to examine (answer scripts of 70,80 marks) a day and for answer scripts of lesser mark proportionately more answer scripts are to be examined by an examiner per day. The TBSE president also said that all evaluators are to evaluate answer-scripts between morning 10 AM to 5 PM.
