Indian Army celebrate World Humanitarian Day at Agartala with children
A special event, titled "A Day with Company Commander," was conducted to celebrate World Humanitarian Day at Agartala Military Station, under the aegis of Spear Corps. It was aimed to create cherished memories for the children while highlighting the importance of humanitarian efforts.
A total of 31 children of Binapani Children Orphanage Home, Agartala were called for a day filled with joy, entertainment and compassion at the cantonment.
The day commenced with a warm welcome from the Company Commander, followed by a special movie screening, carefully chosen to inspire, entertain and impart valuable lessons about kindness and teamwork to the children. After watching movie, children participated in a variety of engaging activities organized by the company. Activities were designed to encourage teamwork and creativity. Children enthusiastically participated in all the activities. To ensure the children were well-nourished throughout the day, refreshments and lunch were provided.
The day concluded with gifts distribution and a heartfelt message from the Company Commander, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian values and the positive impact of small acts of kindness.
The event underscores Indian Army's commitment to community engagement and humanitarian efforts, reinforcing the belief that compassion and care can make a significant impact in the lives of young minds.
