K-Pop star Park Bo Ram, 30, found dead at a friend's home
K-Pop star Park Bo Ram, who is known for rendering his soulful voice to several popular K-drama soundtracks, was found dead at a friend's house, media reports said.
She is 30.
According to police, Park was with two other women at her friend's house in Seoul on Thursday when she was found to have collapsed, suffering a cardiac arrest, reported Daily Mail.
Police have launched an investigation into her death.
Park Bo Ram's agency XANADU Entertainment reacted to the death of the singer and posted in a statement as quoted by Allkpop: " Park Bo Ram suddenly left us on the late evening of April 11. Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to her fans. A wake and funeral proceedings will be scheduled after a discussion with the singer's family."
Park made her debut with release digital single "Beautiful" featuring Zico on August 7, 2014. That year, she won Artist of the Year for August at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards and was nominated for Best New Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Melon Music Awards.
