Republican candidate Donald Trump ready to offer a Cabinet slot or advisory role to Musk if re-elected to power, Space X chief gives his reply on X
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said he is ready to offer tech entrepreneur Elon Musk a cabinet or an advisory role if he is voted to power to the White House for the second term.
Describing Elon Musk as a 'smart guy', Trump told Reuters news agency: " I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He's a brilliant guy."
Elon Musk recently endorsed Trump for the country's top post.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk reacted to the development and shared a cryptic post on X where he said: " I am willing to serve."

The post shows him standing on a podium with the words "Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)" written on it.
Doge is an Internet meme that became popular in 2013.
The meme consists of a picture of a Shiba Inu dog, accompanied by multicolored text in Comic Sans font in the foreground.
The Shiba Inu had a notable presence in popular culture in late 2013, including a cryptocurrency based on Doge, the Dogecoin, launching in December of that year.
Musk, however, did not officially comment on accepting Trump's offer.
