India is a significant and growing market for Canada’s exports and investments, MP Chandra Arya tells Narendra Modi
Canadian Member of Parliament Chandra Arya recently met Indian PM Narendra Modi during his visit to New Delhi, where he said India remains a significant and growing market for Canada’s exports and investments.
"During my visit to New Delhi on Aug 12, I had the privilege of meeting the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi at his residence office. We discussed Canada India relations," he said.
The Indian-origin politician further wrote on X: " India is a significant and growing market for Canada’s exports and investments, and it serves as a key source for fulfilling our critical talent needs."
"We all need to work to realize the full potential of our relationship," he said.
Relationship between India and Canada touched a low point last year over the killing of Khalistani leader Nijjar.
In September last year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canadian authorities were pursuing allegations linking Indian government agents to the fatal shooting of Nijjar, a Canadian citizen.
