TMC to organize mass movements in January  in support of 10,323, STGT

Newly elected state unit president of Trinamool Congress (TMC) Pijush Kanti Biswas through his scathing attack to the state government over their alleged failure of pre-poll commitments said that people of the state are now ready to oust the ‘anti-people’ government of Tripura.

After a joining programme held at the state office of TMC in Agartala on Tuesday, where members from 105 families from Silacherri area leaving their old party Congress joined TMC in presence of state in-charge Rajib Banerjee and RS MP Sushmita Dev.

While castigating the BJP government over their alleged betrayal policies, Biswas said that the people of the state on Monday witnessed the brutal and inhuman action of Tripura police on qualified STGT candidates instigated by a minister.

He said that TMC will organize different political programmes across the state till December and will also distribute blankets to the people. TMC has given an ultimatum to the state government for reinstatement of retrenched 10, 323 teachers and jobs for qualified STGT  candidates  within December, else the party will organize statewide protest against deprivation of 10,323 teachers and STGT candidates and will paralyze the state government, said Biswas.

Biswas said TMC’s supremo Mamata Banerjee assured him that soon she will visit the state and will take all possible steps to strengthen the party in Tripura and to oust the BJP government democratically.

He also said that within the next few days, the all India general secretary of TMC and MP Abhishek Banerjee will also visit the state to rejuvenate party workers.
