Maliwal underwent a medical examination on Thursday, just hours after the police filed a case based on her complaint that she was assaulted by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s personal secretary Bibhav Kumar at the CM’s official residence on Monday.

The Delhi Police arrested Bibhav Kumar on Saturday, and he will soon be presented in Tis Hazari Court.

According to Swati Maliwal’s case sheet released by AIIMS Delhi on Saturday, she had two visible injuries.

“She had bruises over the proximal left leg dorsal aspect of approx size 3×2 cm and right cheek elbow below right eye of approx size 2×2 cm”, the report stated, according to Indian Express.

The report stated that the patient reported that she was slapped multiple times and pushed to the ground, causing her to hit a hard object. “She fell on the floor and after that she was hit multiple times by legs over chest, abdomen and pelvis,” the report added, Indian Express reported.

Swati Maliwal had alleged over a call to the police control room on Monday that she was assaulted when she went to visit Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence.
