Narendra Modi expressed 'gratitude' to Putin for hosting him at his residence.

Modi said he is looking forward to the official talks on Tuesday.

"Gratitude to President Putin for hosting me at Novo-Ogaryovo this evening. Looking forward to our talks tomorrow as well, which will surely go a long way in further cementing the bonds of friendship between India and Russia," Modi posted on X.

Modi arrived in Russia on Monday.

Modi was received by First Deputy PM Denis Manturov of Russia after he arrived at the airport.

After visiting Russia, Modi is scheduled to visit Austria.
